3-4 cups of chopped green cabbage (pick a light, not heavy, head)
1 cup of chopped celery
1 cup of chopped cucumber (Kirbys, if possible)
1/4 cup of chopped scallions
some mayonnaise
seasoned salt: to taste
pepper: coarse ground, to taste
What to do:
Mix everything up.
Chill.
N.B. A lady named Mary Gottliebsonn, I knew in Madison, Wisconsin, used to put peanuts in this, too. Really good. But check to see if your future date has food allergies. You don't want to put them in the Emergency Room...could ruin the mood.
