Doug's Black Olive Spread
Sort of like a tapenade
The Stuff That Goes in It
- 1 cup of black olives (if they have pits, take the pits out!!!)
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1/2 cup of chopped parsley
- 1 T. of oregano, or basil, or whatever
- 1/3 cup of olive oil
- salt and pepper
What to do:
Whooz it in the blender until it makes a paste of a consistency you like. Spread on bread, or whatever. You can toast bread, then spread it on, or put bread under the broiler with the spread. Yummy.
