There are more variations on this recipe than you could count. I grew up eating it and it is one of my favorites. But I don't do it from scratch. I get the soup mix made by Dixie Lily. I bring a few dozen packages back with me, whenever I go home to Florida.

Spanish chrizo: sliced
Kielbosa: sliced
chicken: boiled and removed from the bones
fresh spinach leaves: put in just before serving
hard cooked eggs: chopped and put in just before serving
What to do:
Cook it according to the package directions.
Put in everything except the spinach and eggs and cook with the beans, spices, and potatoes.
