"Massachusetts Historical Society's online exhibit
in celebration of the 225th anniversary of the Battle of Bunker Hill.
This site includes a timeline of the American Revolution, maps and
sketches of the battle, eyewitness accounts of the battle, and
biographies of the eyewitnesses. The accounts range from the more
well-known letter of Abigail Adams to her husband John, to descriptions
written by Boston residents and soldiers in the battle. For a general
