The XCELL Mentor Program, started in 2009, is a multi-year collaborative project between universities and high schools in the Tri-Cities region.  The program matches up English-language learning and/or Hispanic high school juniors and seniors with mentors who can support and encourage them to continue their education.  The ultimate goal of the program is to increase enrollment of these diverse students in Tennessee institutions of higher education.
