Welcome to Radio, TV, & Film!

The ETSU Department of Mass Communication's Radio, TV, and Film program teaches television, film, and radio production skills as preparation for jobs in various areas of the media industry and to cultivate the crucial voices of this generation. Our programs offer access to cutting edge resources in small classes that give students hands-on experience that prepares them for jobs in multiple areas of the media industry.

The Radio, TV, and Film program's newly renovated facilities include a 15-station Digital Editing Lab with Final Cut Pro, ProTools, and Avid software, and an HD-TV Studio and Control Room. Shared storage via the Edit Share allows communication between these facilities and mimics the work flow of facilities in the industry.

Students in the Radio, TV, and Film program have the ability to work in student-run media, including BucTV, which broadcasts on campus, and The Edge, ETSU's online radio alternative station. Students also have the opportunity to enter their work into campus and community film festivals and competitions.
