Mathematics Laboratories
The Mathematics Department offers assistance for students needing help in their mathematics courses.
The Math Lab is located in Warf-Pickel 309 and is staffed by graduate and upper level undergraduate tutors. Usual hours in the fall and spring are Monday through Thursday, 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM and Sundays 1:00 - 5:00 PM. Summer hours are typically Monday through Friday, 1:00-5:00 PM. The lab is open from the second week of the semester through the last week of classes. It is closed during finals week, university holidays, and between semesters.
Note: Warf-Pickel is scheduled to be closed during the latter half of summer 2009 for asbestos abatement; check with your instructor for details about any alternative arrangements.
The Developmental Math Lab is in the laptop computer lab of the Lucille Clement residence hall. The entrance is on the side of the building facing the Center for Physical Activity and must be gained by swiping your ID card in the reader next to the door. It is open in the fall and spring and is staffed by scholarship students majoring in math or sciences. Hours vary by day and semester. This lab is for students taking DSPM courses. As with the regular math lab, the developmental math lab is open from the second week of the semester through the last week of classes and is closed for holidays and final exam week.
