Daniel Santiago, a problem solver and solution provider, is a 1987 graduate of East Tennessee State University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Electronic Engineering. He got his start in electronics at the age of ten assisting a close family friend with tube television repairs. His first computer was a TI-99-4A. He has had the opportunity of working with Dos, Windows, Unix, and Mac Operating Systems. Over the years he has worked with composite production systems using U-matic, Beta, and 1-inch. Today he works to build and maintain digital networked workflows for HD-video acquisition, HD-studio production, surround sound audio systems, and his latest endeavor was the creation of an Apple based Master Control Room for video distribution to the ETSU campus cable system. He has been a member of the Society of Broadcast Engineers since January of 2015.
