Leadership as a Competitive Student
Students involved in volunteering, service, and extracurricular activities must de monstrate leadership ability. It is not beneficial to simply join an organization. Students MUST seek leadership opportunities and demonstrate leadership qualities within organizations. With the experience of leading others, candidates will increase their level of comfort and competency working with others as well as independently, acquiring conflict resolution and problem solving skills. Students should seek out roles that provide such opportunities.
