Preparation for College and Professional School while in High School
Your high school performance and
accomplishments are a wonderful grounding point for preparation to
a career in the Health professions. However, you must
continue to prepare by taking rigorous course loads, acquiring
shadowing/practical experience, volunteerism, and leadership
opportunities. Your high school transcript and experiences
will influence your acceptance into a University's Undergraduate
and Pre-Professional Program of Study. While you prepare for
Professional School, your decisions in coursework and community
involvement will influence the foundation you establish in social
and professional competency - which is significant in your overall
competiveness as an Applicant to a Professional School.
