Scott Lambert
- 1974
Scott retired with 31 years as a band director, teaching all
levels of instrumental music at both secondary and collegiate
levels. He received Virginia's Most Outstanding Music
Educator Award and served as president of both the Virginia Music
Educators Association and Virginia Band and Orchestra Directors
Association. He also received the John Philip Sousa
Foundation's Sudler Legion of Honor. Lambert is president of
Educational Music and Design and is active as a clinician,
adjudicator, arranger and drill designer for bands and orchestras
in 17 states. Lambert currently supervise student teachers
for James Madison University.
