An All-Day Festival Celebrating Male Choristers Throughout the Region

Join  Us  For  This  Not-To-Be-Missed  Annual  Event!

 

  • NO ADVANCE PREPARATION NECESSARY! All music will be taught at the festival.
  • Student Registration is only $10.00 (includes music and lunch)
  • Adult Registration is only $15.00 (includes music and lunch)
  • TWO FESTIVAL CHOIRS!
  • The adult (changed) voices choir led by conductors:
    • Dr. Alan Stevens, ETSU Associate Director of Choral Activities
    • Dr. Noah DeLong, Milligan College Director of Choral Activities
  • The boys choir led by conductor:
    • Ms. Jane Morison, Director of the Mountain Empire Children's Choral Academy
    • OPEN to all boys, grades 4 and up!

Advance Registration is not required by STRONGLY encouraged!

Seeger Memorial Chapel at Milligan College

**Festival Participation Fees may be paid online via ETSU Marketplace or by cash or check at registration.  

Concert Attire:

All boys should wear black pants and a white button-down shirt.

Men can wear the performance attire of their participating ensemble or any appropriate performance outfit. No unified outfit is required!

9:30-10:00 Registration in Seeger Chapel lobby ($15.00 for adults and $10.00 for students)
10:00-10:20 Welcome and warm-ups in Mary B. Martin Auditorium
10:20-10:30 Move to sectional locations
10:30-11:45 Sectional rehearsals
11:45-11:55 Return to Mary B. Martin Auditorium
11:55-12:30 Full Rehearsal in Mary B. Martin Auditorium
12:30-1:45 Lunch at the Milligan College Dining Center
                      *Lunch is provided with the participation fee
1:45-3:30 Full Rehearsal in Mary B. Martin Auditorium
3:30-4:00 Break & Mini Performance by Greyscale and Heritage
4:00-5:10 Full Rehearsal with strings
5:10-5:30 Full Rehearsal with Boys in Song and strings
5:30-7:00 Dress for concert and dinner on your own (Milligan Dining Center or off campus)
                      *Dinner is not provided with the participation fee
7:00 Call time for concert in Seeger Chapel lower level

5:10-5:30 Full Rehearsal with Men in Song and strings
5:30-6:00 Concert rehearsal onstage
6:00-7:00 Dress for concert and dinner at Milligan College Dining Center
                        *Dinner is provided with the participation fee
7:00 Call time for concert
