Chopin 200
Welcome to the Chopin 200 Project web site! Thanks for visiting the site. The ETSU Piano Department has established this web site to promote the yearlong project, Chopin 200/Powell Piano Series. The project is a series of seven concerts and pre-concert talks centered on composer Frederic Chopin (1810-1849). The project will feature different guest artists as well as the ETSU piano faculty and students. Each concert features a pre-concert talk followed by a piano recital featuring Chopin's works. This series celebrates the life of Chopin through his music and recognizes the anniversary of his 200th birthday.
This web site contains ticket information, concert dates and times, artist information as well as artist interviews, video and audio of concerts and helpful information on the life and music of Chopin.
