Grzych

Dr. Frank J. Grzych was appointed Chair and Professor of the Department of Music at East Tennessee State University (ETSU) in July 2007.  Prior to his appointment at ETSU he served as Chair, Department of Fine and Performing Arts, Texas A&M International University, Laredo, Texas. 

He comes to ETSU after a distinguished career in the United States Air Force and as a music educator at the public school and university levels.  While in the Air Force, Dr. Grzych, a retired Air Force officer, held numerous conducting positions including that of Associate Conductor and Vice Commander of the Air Force’s premier music organization, The United States Air Force Band and Singing Sergeants, Washington, DC.
