Jennifer Marshall

Jennifer Zoellner Marshall, of Newberry, South Carolina, is the Collaborative Pianist for East Tennessee State University and the Organist and Choir Director of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church in Johnson City, Tennessee. She graduated in December 2011 with the D.M.A. in Organ Performance with a minor in Music History from the University of South Carolina, where she studied organ with Dr. William H. Bates. Prior to her studies at USC, Dr. Marshall received the M.M. in Organ Performance from Winthrop University (studying organ with Dr. David Lowry), the M. Div. from Gardner-Webb University School of Divinity, and the B. A. in Applied Music (Organ) and German from Newberry College (studying organ with Dr. J. Michael Grant and Dr. Sally Cherrington Beggs). A member of the American Guild of Organists and Pi Kappa Lambda, she has served as organist, pianist, and music director for several churches in the midlands of South Carolina and organist for various churches in east Tennessee. She currently resides in Johnson City, Tennessee, with her husband, Dr. Zachary Marshall, and their Italian Greyhound, Devo.
