Talk Title: Pattern Replication In Non-Wetting Templates:  An Introduction to Liquidia Technologies and the Novel PRINT™ Platform

ABSTRACT:

 

Liquidia Technologies’ novel PRINT™ platform and proprietary Fluorocur™ materials enable large scale, roll-to-roll manufacturing of molded nanoparticles and patterned films from small area master templates.  This process blends elements from traditional semiconductor manufacturing with imprint lithography techniques to produce a wide variety of specifically shaped particles and patterned films with a broad range of applications from therapeutic delivery vehicles to optical films.   An overview of the nanoparticle and patterned films manufacturing processes will be presented along with some key target applications in the life and materials sciences arenas. 

Mike Houchins is an ETSU alumnus, with a B. S. degree in Physics.   After graduation from ETSU, he obtained a masters degree in Material Science from Clemson University.
