University Degree Types

There are three degree types available for those who entered ETSU prior to Fall 2010.  They are as follows: Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (BS), and a Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Social Sciences (what we like to call the BSss).  For those who enter in Fall 2010 and beyond, there are only the BA and the BS options. You need to decide what degree type is best for you and then decide on a major concentration.  It is good to get advised by a faculty member in your choice of degree and concentration types. To change your degree type, major concentration, and/or minor, use this form.
