As an undergraduate major or minor, you should be a member of the Psych Talk listserv which allows the department to communicate with students about courses, job opportunities, research opportunities, graduate school opportunities, or anything else that may be deemed important, and allows students to communicate with the department and/or other students to ask questions, communicate concerns or feedback, and announce things of interest to others. Keep in mind that when you hit “reply” to a Psych Talk email, IT GOES TO EVERYONE, so make sure to just email the person you want to talk to if you do not want it to go to everyone.

You should be on the Psych Talk listserv, so you will be aware of speaking opportunities as they arise during the semester. You can be added to, or removed from, Psych Talk at any time simply by emailing your request to the department chair (Wallace Dixon, dixonw@etsu.edu) or to the department executive aide (Jan Brown, royston@etsu.edu).
