Advisement Procedure

Every student is to be advised every semester to ensure that prerequisites are met.

All newly admitted students are to be advised prior to beginning classes in the foundation or concentration years.

The following list of forms are to be used for advisement:

  • The Degree Plan
  • The Conference Contact Form
  • The Example Form

No grade of B- or lower will be accepted in the following courses:

SOWK 5101, 5102, 5103, 5104, 5105, 5203, 5204, 5313, 5323, 5303, 5306, 5430, 5406

No more than two C grades are allowed during the entire program whether the student is in the traditional program or advanced standing program.

Students must have a 3.0 GPA to graduate.

If a student's GPA drops below 3.0 the student will be placed on probation.
