Students majoring in the College of  Arts and Sciences must meet specific requirements for the Bachelor of  Arts (B.A.) and the Bachelor of Science (B.S.). For each discipline, some required courses must be taken in addition to those specified by the General Education Core; some disciplines will also specify which courses from the General Education Core must be taken. Students interested in degree programs in Fine Arts (B.F.A.), Music (B.M.), or Social Work (B.S.W.) should consult the appropriate departmental section in the undergraduate catalog for specific information.
