BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE

Majid A. Ejlali has worked in various capacities at East Tennessee State University. Formerly director of the University Press, he is currently director for university marketing and promotion in the Office of University Relations.

SCOPE AND CONTENT

The Majid A. Ejlali Maps consist of Tennessee city census maps and map transparencies developed by Ejlali as part of a university proposal to establish a medical school at ETSU. The maps date between 1969 and 1972 and are arranged by size and then alphabetically by subject. Transparency negatives of maps are filed after paper versions. Maps are housed in one oversize folder stored in the map cabinets by accession number.
