Evan Davis Collection, acc.90, APA 707
This
undated photograph shows an area that has been clearcut with felled trees that
have been cut into logs. The horses in the photographs were used to pull, or
skid the logs to the rail lines that take the logs to the sawmill. The limbs
and leaves were also saved to make items such as paper, and later, plywood.
