This
photograph taken in 1932 shows the men from the Lick Creek logging camp eating
in the dining car. Because of the natural lighting and the cleanliness of the
men and their clothes, it appears that the loggers are eating breakfast. The
men would get the main courses of the meal and then have a seat. The "extras"
of the meal, such as the milk, coffee, and butter are set on the table. Employees
young and old and from different backgrounds often got to know one another at
tables in settings like this one in the logging camps.
