This
photograph taken in 1935 shows the store manager's wife (left) and two cooks
(center, right) at W.M. Ritter Company's Frying pan camp. They are more than
likely standing in front of the dining car, because there are no steps from
the building to the walkway for several feet, meaning that this car would be
long enough to hold the long tables necessary to seat the loggers. The dining
car was often the longest and largest car in the camp.
