This
photograph, taken in 1924, shows Jiles Fink (right) in front of his store at
the Frying Pan Camp. Fink's store served as the company store for the camp.
As you can see in the photograph, the store, like the other structures in the
logging camp was made from a train car and rested on the railroad tracks. Often
times, the company store owners were the wealthiest men on the campsite, as
can be seen in Mr. Fink's style of dress.
