undated photograph shows a log yard at a sawmill in Johnson City, TN. Notice
the difference in the number of logs in this picture as compared with the number
of logs in the picture showing the log pond. Lumber cut from logs that were
in a log yard need almost no time for drying, unlike the lumber cut from logs
in a log pond.
