Archives of Appalachia

Appalachian Collections

Appalachian Collections include personal papers of individuals and families, institutional records of businesses and organizations, photographs of rural and community life, and sound recordings of word and song. We are just as pleased to acquire the reminiscence of a midwife or the scrapbook of a miner, as we are to receive the papers of a prominent business or political leader.
