Logo Parking Suggestions for Visitors

As is common at other universities, finding an empty parking space is not assured. We do have some suggestions that might help you. Parking is most difficult during fall and spring semesters. You will have a better chance finding a space before 8:30, and between 11:30 and 1:30. Parking is less problematic in the summer and during semester breaks. If you contact us before your visit, we can tell you when semester breaks are scheduled.

Logo Visitor Parking Regulations

All visitors are required to stop at the Department of Public Safety located just inside the University Parkway entrance. You will need to obtain a visitor's parking permit. There is no charge for a permit. For individuals visiting the Archives, there are three visitor spaces at the end of Stout Drive next to the Reece Museum. Tell Public Safety you are visiting the Archives. They will give you a specical permit to park in these reserved spaces. Consult with Public Safety about other visitor parking areas, or go to Map of University. Visitors may not park in firelanes, disabled spaces or ramps, or no-parking zones.
