The Archeology section of the Governor’s School for Tennessee Heritage will give students hands-on experiences in archaeological fieldwork at the Rocky Mount Museum Living History Site.

Governor's School students will have the opportunity to conduct archaeological test excavations at a prehistoric Native American site at Rocky Mount. The excavations will focus on defining both the horizontal and vertical extents of the archaeological deposits.
