The Historic Preservation section will give students hands-on experiences in preservation philosophy and techniques in Tennessee’s oldest town, Jonesborough.

The goal of this unit is to get students actively involved in the preservation efforts that are on-going in Jonesborough and Washington County. Activities will be guided by preservation staff with the Heritage Alliance, a preservation organization centered in Jonesborough.
