To complete the Appalachian Studies minor, students must take two required courses, APST 2060, “Introduction to Appalachian Studies,” and APST 4997, “Current Issues in Appalachian Studies,” and take twelve hours in at least tow departments. Only three hours in the student’s major field count towards the Appalachian Studies minor.
