Development of Wayside Kiosks for Virginia's Heritage Music Trail in Montgomery and Giles counties, Virginia: Cultural and Economic Implications 

The 2014 ATP Virginia Tech Appalachian Studies Program engaged multiple community stakeholders, music performance groups, and individuals involved in local heritage music in order to research and then design the content for and placement of The Crooked Road (TCR) Wayside kiosks in both Giles and Montgomery Counties, Virginia, so as to stimulate interest among tourists while, at the same time, preserve and sustain the cultural significance of these counties' heritage music.
