Originally developed as an instructional aid for the New Deans Seminar, Dr. Spritzer's video, “Deans on Deaning: Secrets of Success,” has received wide acclaim as a source of valuable information for business deans, academic deans, and other executives and managers who lead organizations staffed by high-talent personnel.

Requests for copies of the video by New Deans Seminar attendees led AACSB to make the 95-minutes of advice from successful deans available for sale to the AACSB membership. Royalty payments from AACSB to the ETSU College of Business and Technology on behalf of the Allen and Ruth Harris Chair of Excellence were used to support faculty development activities.
