Research

Dr. Julian has been teaching university level interior design courses and has been a state registered interior designer since 2000. Her teaching has focused on human behavior, sustainability and universal design. During the last five years she has been actively engaged in facilities design and construction. Her research interests include way finding in the built environment, evidenced based design and life safety. Dr. Julian is a Leadership in Environmental Design in Building Design and Construction (LEED AP BD+C) and Evidence Based Design Accredited Professional (EDAC).
