Bankers in the Classroom presents the opportunity for students to meet an area banking professional in the classroom in a more intimate environment. It allows students the chance to hear what a "typical" day in the life of the speaker is from a banking standpoint and it also exposes students to the various careers that are available in the banking field.
Students are allowed to ask questions and discuss various issues and concerns with the speaker. This is a great chance for not only students but also for area banks. It allows a representative from a bank to go out and meet future employees (and customers!) and really explain to them what banking is all about.
These events are usually held during Bank Policy class in the Spring semester.
