FUTURES: BUSINESS ROUNDTABLE LUNCHEON SERIES
Did you ever wonder what it is like to work in a particular
industry? Do you have questions you would like to ask of
professionals in your chosen field?
Futures: Roundtable Luncheons offer students from
business, engineering technology, surveying, digital media, and
computer science the opportunity to interact with executives
representing a cross-section of industry over lunch.
Attendance is generally limited to the first 10-12 students who
sign up to attend. Many employers expect students to come
dressed professionally and ready to ask five questions about a
variety of topics including their job searches, resumes,
interviewing, entry level positions in their companies, career
pathing, as well as newsworthy happenings in a specific
industry.
This programs offers students a wonderful way to gather vital
career information--and practice conversing with professionals in
the region's business community, a real plus for interview
preparation.
