The criteria for admission to the Entrepreneurial Leadership Graduate Certificate Program include:
A baccalaureate degree, and
A minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
Application materials which must be submitted to the School of Graduate Studies include an application, essay, official transcripts from all colleges attended, three (3) professional references, and a rsum. If a student is seeking simultaneous admission to a degree program in administration in the College of Business and Technology, the student must submit two application forms, a dual degree form, one set of the required credentials (transcripts, test scores, references, etc.) and pay one application fee. If a student is already admitted to one of the above degree programs in the College of Business and Technology and later wishes to be considered for admission to the Entrepreneurial Leadership Graduate Certificate Program, the student must submit a completed application form indicating an interest in the certificate program and a dual degree form.
All applications will be evaluated by an admissions committee composed of representatives from the College of Business and Technology. Factors given consideration in the admission decision include the following: grade point average, professional work experience, writing ability, demonstrated interest in entrepreneurship, and references. Applicants are encouraged to address their related accomplishments and goals in the essay and rsum.
First preference for admission will be given to candidates who meet all criteria and file a completed application no later than 60 days prior to the beginning of the semester in which the student plans to begin the program. Applications will be considered until the class is filled.
