Minors in
Technology & Geomatics
Students may choose an undergraduate minor Geography. Minors are available for students wishing to acquire technical knowledge and/or skills outside their chosen fields of study.
Requirements for a minor are a minimum of 21 credit hours—nine (9) of which must be upper division courses. While technical elective courses can be taken from any of the department's four undergraduate major program areas, concentration study in a particular technical area is encouraged. Students must meet the prerequisites listed in the catalog for a particular course they wish to take or obtain permission of the instructor.
Regardless of the number of credit hours transferred from technical institutes, colleges, or military technical schools, students who wish to minor in technology or geography must complete a minimum of three (3) upper division courses in the department.
