We hope you will peruse the FACS web site. It will tell you today's success story. FACS is alive and well...There are over 200 majors in four different concentrations:
- Consumer Studies / Family & Consumer Sciences Education
- Interior Design
- Merchandising
- Nutrition and Foods
Students are still active in student professional organizations:
- AACFS - American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences - Student Unit @ ETSU
- FNA - Food & Nutrition Association
- ASID - American Society of Interior Design
- CMA - Collegiate Merchandising Association
FACS now occupies one and one half floors of Hutcheson Hall! That's right... we've taken over half of the third floor for office space, the Meyerhoeffer Conference Room, and one classroom. The second floor lobby has been given a face lift. The interior design students submitted plans for the lobby renovation... from the paint on the walls to the carpet, to furniture and display cases, to paintings. Come by and see us!!!
