Thanks for visiting the Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) web site. Our department offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Consumer Sciences and a Masters of Science in Clinical Nutrition. Students may choose from the following career areas: consumer studies, family and consumer sciences education, dietetics, food service management, interior design, apparal or interiors merchandising or teaching. Our goal is to serve the local and regional community and businesses by educating students to be enlightened, responsible, and productive citizens in their chosen professions. Our students are trained to serve their communities and business, education, government, and health care systems. Our students graduate with work experience by participating in required field studies and internships. You have the opportunity to provide work experience to our students by allowing our students to do a field studies or internship in your organization.
