All Family and Consumer Sciences majors have the opportunity to develop leadership skills by becoming active members in the professional umbrella organization, American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences Student Unit @ ETSU.
Membership and leadership opportunities are also available to Interior Design majors in the American Society of Interior Design (ASID), Dietetics and Food Service Management students in the Food and Nutrition Association (FNA) and Merchandising students in the Collegiate Merchandising Association (CMA).
Family and Consumer Sciences majors with the potential for excellence in scholarship, research, and leadership can be invited to become a member in the professional honor society, Kappa Omicron Nu (KON).
