Beth Lowe is the director of the Dietetic Internship and Graduate Coordinator in the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences. She received her B. S. degree in Home Economics from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 1974. She completed her Masters degree in Nutrition Science in 1982, also from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She plays an active role in the Kappa Beta Rho chapter Kappa Omicron Nu as faculty advisor.

Mrs. Lowe teaches several nutrition courses including community nutrition, maternal and child nutrition and internship courses and graduate level seminar classes. She has a special interest in sports nutrition and is interested in athletics at the university. Mrs. Lowe is a Registered Dietitian and is a Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist in Tennessee.
