Dr. Langenbrunner earned her PhD from the University of Tennessee in the area of Family Studies. She received a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Development (Certification: PreK) and her BS Degree in Child Development.
Her areas of expertise are: high-conflict divorce; family development; child development; and parent-child relationships. She is a Listed Rule 31 Divorce Mediator and also facilitates the court mandated Parenting Seminars required of all parents who file for divorcerelitigating and have children under the age of 18.
Dr. Langenbrunner also serves as the Coordinator for the First Judicial District Court Clinic. This is a program that was initiated by one of the district court judges who needed a professional team with expertise in working with high conflict divorce families. The program is funded through the State of Tennessee’s Administrative Offices of the Courts. Referrals to the clinic are submitted by both judges and attorneys who struggle in working through the issues with these families. A Conflict Questionnaire devised by the team is administered to all individuals who are required to take the state mandated parenting seminar. This questionnaire serves as a tool for the evaluation of the success of the program.
