Master Sergeant Insignia

Master Sergeant Stephen K. Colman is a native of Titusville, Florida.  He entered the Army in July of 1995 and attended OSUT at Fort Benning, Georgia, graduating as an Infantryman. 

Master Sergeant Colman’s assignments include 3rd Battalion, 187th Infantry Regiment, Fort Campbell, Kentucky; 1st Battalion, 14th Infantry Regiment, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii;  6th Ranger Training Battalion, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida; 1st Battalion, 502nd Infantry Regiment, Fort Campbell, Kentucky; and East Tennessee State University ROTC.

MSG Colman has held numerous leadership and staff positions to include: Squad Leader, Section Leader, Weapons Squad Leader, Platoon Sergeant, Operations NCO, and First Sergeant.  He is presently the Senior Military Instructor at East Tennessee State University.

MSG Colman’s military and civilian education includes the Warrior Leader Course, Advanced leader Course, Senior Leader Course, Air Assault, Airborne, Combat Diver Qualification Course, Ranger and Instructor Training Course.   His awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal (1OLC), Meritorious Service Medal (1OLC) , Army Commendation Medal (7OLC), Army Achievement Medal (4OLC), Good Conduct Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, Expert Infantryman Badge, Airborne Badge, Assault Badge and the Ranger Tab.
