Honors-in-Discipline Programs

The College of Business and Technology (CBAT) offers an Honors-in-Discipline (HID) Program to attract, retain, and recognize outstanding students who seek a challenging and stimulating college experience. The program provides an enriched academic experience for selected students by providing honors and honors enriched courses in the departments within the College of Business and Technology. This academic experience also includes participation in undergraduate research and creative activity in their field, including completion of the year-long Senior Honors Thesis project. Other benefits include priority registration, 24/7 access to an HID computer lab and study room in Yoakley Hall, the opportunity to become eligible for Honors-in-Discipline scholarships, participation in Honors College and CBAT HID events, and Honors graduation and transcript recognition.
