Tennessee Business Tax Seminar on Thursday, August 9, 2012
The Tennessee Department of Revenue co-sponsors tax seminars designed to bring the latest available tax information to business owners, CPAs, and other interested parties. Seminar participants receive current, in-depth information on Tennessee tax issues and information from other state agencies.
Participants heard from various state tax specialists, and were able to get answers to tax questions and share solutions with their peers. New information, including updates from the 2012 legislative session, were presented.
Topics included sales tax, electronic filing, franchise and excise tax, business tax, individual income tax, gift and inheritance tax, unemployment tax, and tangible personal property tax.
