Organic Reaction Mechanisms (3 Credits)

Prerequisite: One year of organic chemistry; one year of physical chemistry.

A study of the use and transition state theory, kinetics, isotope effects, and stereochemistry as applied to reaction mechanisms, Pericyclic, nucleophilic, electrophilic, elimination and carbonyl reactions will be covered.
