National Child Passenger Safety Certification Training
The National Standardized Child Passenger Safety Technician Certification Course is 32 hours of training which combine classroom instruction with hands-on installation of seats in vehicles. When students demonstrate proper use and installation of child restraints and safety belts they will teach these skills to parents and caregivers. Successful completion of this course leads to national certification as a Child Passenger Safety Technician for 2 years.
The ETSPSC offers a six hour course that enables CPS Technicians to earn 6 CEU's for recertification
CPS Renewal Course
8 hour course for once certified individuals who have remained current in their CPS knowledge and skills
CPS Educational Materials and Update
ETCPSC distributes educational materials and technical updates to the certified techs in our region. These educational materials are also made available to organizations or individuals requesting them .
