About Us
The Center of Excellence in Early Childhood Learning and Development at East Tennessee State University is a state, national, and international program influencing policy and services that directly impact the lives of young children and their families.
The Center was established in 1985 and, in 1988, was recognized by the Tennessee Board of Regents and Tennessee Higher Education Commission as an "Accomplished Center".
The Center's mission is to provide and support exemplary training, research, and service for young children, birth through 10 years of age, their families, and the people who work with them.
