Cherie Herald is the newest member of the PBSI team. She holds a Bachelors' Degree from Virginia Tech in Early Childhood Education and a Master's from University of Tennessee in Special Education: Hearing Impaired. She has her teaching license in early childhood education, elementary education and special education: hearing impaired as well as an administrative endorsement from Western Kentucky University. For the last 12 years she has been an elementary classroom teacher where she implemented positive behavioral strategies and helped her students become successful lifelong learners.
Cherie is one of our project coordinators for the PBSI Program, and is responsible for providing school-wide training, consultation, and support to schools within the project service area. She provides guidance and feedback to school staff in an effort to improve the academic and behavioral expectations for students in the NE TN area. Cherie also assists the Director and Associate Director in project development, implementation, evaluation, and school-wide activities.
Cherie is the wife of Randall, an ETSU alumni and the mom to Tucker. We love football in our family! GO BUCS!!
